Amazed and Confused

Dear friends,

I amm never short of amazement at the twists and turns of a life in the business. I was just a few months ago congratulating a colleague who i had lured out of retirement, and had immediately scored a prestigious guest role on RAKE. jump forward to a few months later, and the same man, after a cerebral haemorrage , is scrambled up in his head. My wife and I spent a confronting hour with our friend . Time , events, history , memory itself has collapsed, and the visit was a heartfelt reaction to a jumpcut narrative of dreamscape, fantasy, brief remembered snippets, paranoia, and absurd but lovely nonsequiters,.

The character is there in full, Recognition and heartfelt connection was apparent but his polished diamond of a mind has failed him. A tragedy....
