Perry Mann, aka "little perry" was a a little comet of charisma burst into the hearts and minds of Australia in 1966, appearing on graham kennedy`s IMT.
He performed the chicken dance with such naive verve and charm that a short lived career of performing with Childrens entertainers Happy hammond and Humphrey B bear ensued . Little Perry thrilled the crowds at Moomba and at the new shopping Malls popping up all over , until it was all over , the brief flame burning out at the age of 8.
Still, as Perry recalls, Happy showed him a thing or 2 ,some things he can never forget, and that`s where he picked up his life long love affair with fur.
